Made by The Derby Silver Co. in CT. Circa 1940's, this amazing, high relief box is in beautiful condition for its age. Could use another polishing but other than that - gorgeous!!! Quadruple plate Silver still gleams brightly. The red satin lining is in good condition with no rips or tears. Bun feet. Plate on top can even be engraved if wished. There is one flaw - where the lock used to be or pull knob, is missing. I believe a simple pearl or button can be glued inits place and will look just as lovely. Box measures approx. 7.5" square.
