Apostle jug, dating from 1842, in the Gothic style. Size 6" t x 5" w. About 3.5" in diameter. Made in Italy. It is finely decorated on each of the octagonal sides with cathedral style panels, possible modeled on the famous Westminster Abbey, each one featuring an Apostle. Its condition is excellent . No chips, cracks or crazing. This jug (not this exact one) recently sold at auction for $180.00
