| Fabulous antique pitcher is made by Old Hall E'ware and from the "Mother Hubbard" line. As gorgeous as it is, it does have its flaws as shown in 2nd photo. Since this is a highly collectible line, I took it to a dealer that told me I should soak the pitcher and remove the broken and glued pieces. Then glue it back together again with a polyvinyl acetate (PVA) adhesive. Make sure to scrape and clean off all the old glue first. Or take to a professional restorer, although, that may be costly. If you do not care about the cracks and simply want to admire it for what it is, it does not need anything. Just put it somewhere safe. Large pitcher measures approx. 11" high. |
